The Eaglehawk Country House Hotel - Maldon is the most beautiful venue for your craft retreat. It is an Historic Hotel, perfectly equipped for quilters, scrapbookers, knitters and more where you get exclusive use to enjoy your getaway and indulge in your craft. The Eaglehawk is a fully self contained hotel featuring five luxurious bedrooms, three bathrooms, an additional two powder rooms, full kitchen, lovely Victorian gardens and several beautiful function rooms to enjoy your crafting getaway.
Craft and Quilting Rooms
Dining Hall - This room features a four metre table with an optional additional four metre extension making up to eight metres of working space. A light filled room, it provides ample space for everyone to work together.
Breakfast Room - Adjacent to the Dining Hall, this room features an eight seater round table.
Conservatory - A sun filled room overlooking the hotel gardens. Seating for 10 to 14 people with ample light.
Bar - The original public bar from the Victorian Gold Rush days of 1906.
Snug - Adjacent to the Breakfast room, an intimate space to relax.
All function rooms feature central heating and air conditioning.

Setup and Craft Provisions
We provide the following set up of the function rooms for your craft retreat:
Two additional tables (2 metres each) that can be used as additional workspace in the Dining Hall (in addition to the 4 metre table)
Iron and Ironing board
Light box, cutting board, rotary cutters and a ruler
Power boards on the Dining Hall table for electrical items such as sewing machines
Task lighting on the Dining Hall tables
Task lighting on the Dining Hall Canopy chairs
Task lighting in the Conservatory
Accommodation
Featuring five bedrooms with flexible bedding configuration between King and Single beds and accommodation for up to 16. Three bathrooms with an additional two powder rooms.
All linen and towelling provided for your stay
Each bedroom features individually controlled heating and cooling
Additional accommodation is available at the motel next door and at several cottages and B&B's in Maldon. We understand that some members of your group may want their own private bedroom and bathroom space or have circumstances where they choose to stay elsewhere (like Motel Maldon or a cottage in town) but will spend the day with the rest of the group at the hotel. In these circumstances, you need to tell us the number of guests doing this and pay the applicable Visitor fee.
Catering
The Eaglehawk is a self catering (and BYO) hotel. The kitchen is extensively equipped and has a pantry with an array of kitchen basics (oil, spices etc). Tea and coffee is provided and there are two automatic espresso machines (just bring your coffee beans and/or Nespresso coffee pods).

Midweek: Sunday to Friday
Early check-in on Monday at 11am or Late check-out on Thursday at 3pm - subject to availability and at no extra charge (available to stays of 3 nights+ only)
Accommodation from 6 to 14 guests.
Exclusive use of the hotel including all function rooms and hotel gardens.
Quilting & Craft setup - power to tables, daylight lamps, light box etc
Pricing is calculated on the number of guests.
